Wetcat is
not your average Web Design company. During a visit to the Republic
of Georgia in 2001, Wetcat Director, Richard
Heap, was allowed to photograph and catalogue the Georgian
State
Museum's collection of Early Bronze Age pottery and artefacts.
Upon returning to Australia, Wetcat Pty Ltd was establised,
initially as an independent website with which to display
the photographs online. Since then, Wetcat has developed into
different
areas of industry drawing on our expertise in information
technology. Wetcat Studio encompasses the computer technology
division,
specialising in web design, development and systems integration.
Archaeology
In addition to standard
IT products and services, our unique background in archaeology
allows Wetcat to offer a service
that specifically combines
archaeology
with
computer technology in order to display collections via the
Internet. Wetcat websites can be simple, informative pages
or completely integrated database-driven tools that allow users
to facilitate comprehensive searches and detailed catalogue
archiving. Images and photographs are displayed online and
CDs of the collections can be made available for purchase.
Wetcat's services are not restricted to educational and government
insitutions
and are readily available to all professional organisations.
Wetcat is dedicated
to helping our clients achieve more from their technology. Contact
